Rants!!
Drawing with pen is fun !!! I like pen. I'm trying to have confident pen strokes, so my art isn't as messy. Because I've noticed it's often very very messy. I'll make mistakes and cover them up with scribbles. Especially in my traditional art, because well. I can't really undo. I feel more positively in my art skills now, I can see I'm improving. And I don't need a different art style to draw fan art, it looks perfectly fine.
I've been so confident in my ability in art, that I never tried anything different. I've had a similar semi-realistic art style for the last few years. I notice other artists can be flexible, and can draw anime, chibis, or other styles. I neglected trying to draw those, because I thought it was easy. I told myself that I don't need to practise anything else because I'd just be able to without practise since it's so easy, but clearly it's not!! I'll do art style studies I guess, it's fine.

This is greyscale (obviously). I saw some persons rendering method and wanted to try it, but got too far in without noticing my anatomical mistakes, which I then tried to fix, but couldn't. Drawn on 29/08/2026.
I'm likely not finishing this one, there's just something wrong with it. The bottom one has potential, maybe I'll render that one some day, but this just isn't what I want it to be. I started this around 23/08/2026. Well, I do reallly like these, to be honest. I'm also just too lazy to finish them.

Bad Art
Well, not bad. Just not proud of these. But I'd like to archive most of my art on here, because I have a slight fear of losing data. These are different to my WIPs because they're finished, just not my best work. Like, not portfolio quality.

During Artfight, I got a beautiful attack of Luka. It was only lineart, no color, but it was so beautiful, and I wanted to figure out how to make my art look exciting without rendering or color. It didn't end that well, but whatever. 29/08/2026.
